YETI: Every Single Use

Over 150 million tons of single-use plastics and Styrofoam end up in our landfills and waterways each year. So, how does a brand built for the wild strive to protect it at the same time? You offer consumers a sustainable substitute for their single-use behaviors in a simple yet memorable way. Our “For Every Single Use” campaign used YETI’s inherent durability and longevity as the ultimate foil to single-use consumption and waste. Clever copy contrasted plastic and Styrofoam products that become trash almost immediately with YETI drinkware, bags and coolers that are built to never see a landfill. And what started as wild postings in just NYC, Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago soon evolved into festival partnerships, college campus takeovers and international out of home. Since its launch, the campaign has become one of YETI’s most successful brand efforts of all time. But more importantly, we were able to take a simple step forward in hopes of passing down a solution, instead of a problem, to future generations.
